“ImagoMatters" is our motto & our business. We are dedicated to educating people how to create & build conscious relationships & families. Our professional services provide practical, user-friendly therapy, information and workshops. Shelton Huettig is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has been practising in Seattle, USA for 29 years. He is an Imago Therapist and Workshop Presenter, trained and certified by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. and a relationship specialist. Susie Itzstein is a Psychotherapist in Private Practice in Perth who works with individuals, couples, children & families. She specialises in Marriage/Couples Counselling, Inner Child Work & Voice Dialogue. An experienced Group Facilitator, Susie conducts on-going groups, courses, workshops and Intensives. Susie and Shelton are in a loving relationship. They present the Imago Couples & Singles Workshops in America, Australia and Europe. They are members of Imago Relationships International whose mission is to create a new model for marriage & to transform the world one relationship at a time. They attended the Imago World Summit in New Mexico, USA in April, 2003. The Summit brought together counselors and therapists from around the world to explore how to expand and develop conscious relationships and families worldwide. Imago is practised in more than 20 countries by about 2000 therapists. Imagine how different the world would be if it was the norm for everyone to learn how to be in a relationship and how to be a parent. How absurd it is that we don’t prioritise learning skills to navigate these two most important journeys - the foundation of everything else in our society. All life is about being in relationship - be it with ourself, partners, children, family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours.... We need skills and we need to learn them and to regularly update our learning. We are in the business of teaching such skills. It would be our privilege to be of service to you.
